Behind the Lens: The Technology that Powers a Paper Shoot Camera

There are so many aspects of the Paper Shoot Camera we love raving about! The gorgeous biodegradable cases that are customizable and interchangeable, the eco-friendly materials used to create all of the elements, like the cases, lenses, and body of the camera, and last but not least the way you can easily capture beautiful film-style photography. While these might be our highlights when people ask us about our camera, in this blog we're diving deeper into the features and specs.

The Paper Shoot Camera has automatic settings, which means you don't have to touch a thing, the camera does all the work for you. And below, we're going to break down each feature so you understand a little about what's really behind the lens and why it takes such beautiful photography!

18 Megapixels Resolution - Our cameras boasts 18 MP resolution giving you both clarity and quality in all your photos. The resolution quality also allows for large printing without forfeiting the quality of the photo.

1/3 Sensor - Another feature of the camera is its 1/3 sensor which is responsible for capturing incoming light and creating a photo from that light. When comparing to other high-quality cameras on the market, while this sensor might be smaller, it still provides you great quality and contributes to the compact size of the camera.

22mm Focus - Because of the 22mm focal length, the camera shoots at a wider angle than initially expected. When we talk about the 22 mm focus, we're referring to the focal length of the camera lens. That particular length is great for outdoor shots, as well as landscape photography, and anything that has a lot of detail and elements to capture. We offer a macro lens for more up-close photography.

Aperture-F/2.2 - This features controls the amount of light that enters the lens of the camera. A lower aperture allows for more light to enter the lens thus creating great photography in low-light settings. We also offer a ring-light attachment that is perfect for nighttime photography, whether at a concert or an event that starts after dark, you'll be able to capture gorgeous photos with this new accessory!

ISO Range: 100-3200 - The ISO range or sensitivity determines the camera's ability to capture photos in different lighting conditions. A lower range (100) is really suitable for well-lit environments, and a higher ISO (3200) is perfect for low-light settings in the evening or at night. This type of range gives flexibility to the cameras' lens and allows it to capture different light settings without you having to change any settings!

Now that all the features have been broken down, we hope you understand a little more about the settings and why we chose those particular specs and how they contribute to such gorgeous photography from the camera!
